DTC P2541-00: Low Fuel Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
P2541:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Low fuel pressure sensor circuit low input
Detection condition
  • If the input voltage at the PCM terminal 1BL is standard or less, the PCM determines that the low fuel pressure sensor circuit is low.

Precondition
  • Battery voltage: 8 V or more
Fail-safe
  • Limits the engine torque or the upper limit of the engine speed.
Possible cause
  1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between PCM and low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  2. Low fuel pressure sensor malfunction (Refer to LOW FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
