DTC P2229-00: BARO Sensor System: High Input

P2229:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	BARO sensor system: High input
Detection condition	The specified period of time has elapsed while the BARO sensor voltage is high.
Fail-safe	Fixes the barometric pressure for the engine control at 101.32 kPa {1.0332 kgf/cm² , 14.695 psi}.
Possible cause	BARO sensor (built-into PCM) malfunction (Refer to BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (BARO) SENSOR INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
