Single Drive Mode
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Verify all accessory loads (A/C, headlights, blower fan, rear window defogger) are off.
- Verify that all of the following PCM PIDs are within the following specifications. All PIDs must be within specifications before the engine is started to initiate the evaporative system test.
- IAT: 5-35°C {41-95°F}
- FLI: 15-85 %
- BARO: Above 72.2 kPa {0.736 kgf/cm 2 , 10.5 psi}
- Start the engine and warm it up completely.
- Clear the DTCs from the PCM memory using the M-MDS. (see CLEARING DTC .)
- With the vehicle stopped, race the engine at the engine speed indicated, and then drive the vehicle as shown in the graph. If possible, monitor the PCM PID [ENG_RPM] for engine speed during this procedure.PCM COMPONENT OPERATIONS

- If the drive mode has been completed, [***RDY] (each system completed) of the PCM PID [***SUP] (with/without support for each system monitor) item indicating YES changes from NO to YES.
- If not completed, switch the ignition off, then perform the applicable specific Drive Mode for any monitoring item that was not in the detection condition.
- If the drive mode has been completed, [***RDY] (each system completed) of the PCM PID [***SUP] (with/without support for each system monitor) item indicating YES changes from NO to YES.
- Access the diagnostic monitoring test results to verify the monitor results.
- If detected values are not within specification, repair has not been completed.
