DTC P007C-00: Boost Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Input

P007C:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Boost air temperature sensor circuit low input
Detection condition
  • The PCM monitors the input signal from the boost air temperature sensor. If the voltage from the boost air temperature sensor is standard or less, the PCM determines that the boost air temperature sensor circuit has a malfunction.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. Boost air temperature sensor malfunction (Refer to BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
  2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between PCM and boost air temperature sensor (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
