DTC P007B-00: Boost Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem

P007B:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Boost air temperature sensor circuit range/performance problem
Detection condition	U.S.A. and CANADA:  The condition has continued in which difference in intake air temperature measured by the boost air temperature sensor and IAT sensor No. 1 or No. 2 is not within the specification Precondition  Period vehicle being left: 6 h or more Battery voltage: 8 V or more Within 20 s after engine start The following DTCs are not detected: Boost air temperature sensor: P007C:00 and P007D:00 IAT sensor No. 1: P0110:00 and U060F:00 IAT sensor No. 2: P0097:00 and P0098:00 Precondition  Period vehicle being left: 6 h or more Battery voltage: 8 V or more Within 20 s after engine start The following DTCs are not detected: Boost air temperature sensor: P007C:00 and P007D:00 IAT sensor No. 1: P0110:00 and U060F:00 IAT sensor No. 2: P0097:00 and P0098:00
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Boost air temperature sensor malfunction (Refer to BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.) Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between PCM and boost air temperature sensor (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
