DTC P0045-00: WASTEGATE Valve Actuator Control Circuit Low Input

P0045:00 (PCM - VIN Y) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Wastegate valve actuator control circuit low input
Detection condition	If the voltage from the wastegate valve actuator is below specified value, the PCM determines that the wastegate valve actuator circuit has a malfunction.
Fail-safe	Stop the supercharging pressure control. (fully open the wastegate valve)
Possible cause	Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between PCM and wastegate valve actuator (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (see CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Wastegate valve actuator malfunction (Refer to WASTEGATE VALVE ACTUATOR INSPECTION (VIN Y) in the service information.) PCM malfunction (Refer to applicable PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
