Up Switch: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the screw.

Disconnect the up switch connector.

Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity between up switch component terminals A and B.

- If there is any malfunction, replace the up switch. (See STEERING SHIFT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GW6AX-EL] .)
