EGR Cooler Inspection (VIN Y)

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the EGR cooler. (See EGR COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) .)
- Verify that there is airflow from port B when pressure is applied from port A.
- If there is no airflow, replace the EGR cooler. (See EGR COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) .)
