Bolt Removal Note

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Cover the area around the engine oil solenoid valve with a cloth because a small amount of engine oil will leak from the engine oil solenoid valve installation area.
    CAUTION:
    • Do not let any leaked engine oil contact the adjacent water pump gasket and O-ring of the water inlet pipe. Otherwise, the gasket could swell causing a seal malfunction.
  2. Remove the bolts shown in the figure.

    CAUTION:
    • When removing the engine oil solenoid valve component, be careful not to apply excessive force to the oil pipe protector because it may deform the oil pipe protector.
  3. Remove the wiring harness clips and connector shown in the figure.

  4. Remove the bolts shown in the figure.
