Vacuum Chamber Inspection (VIN Y)

- Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) .)
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from the cylinder head cover.
- Apply negative pressure (-94 kPa {-705 mmHg, -28 inHg}) on the port A for one minute to check for the leakage of negative pressure.
- If there is air leakage, replace the cylinder head cover. (See CYLINDER HEAD COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) . )
