Function Inspection

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
  3. Display the PCM PIDs [APP1] and [APP2]. (Refer to PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) .)
  4. (Refer to PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM(VIN Y)] .) .)
  5. Compare the voltage and opening angle indications for the PIDs [APP1] and [APP2] with the standard in the table indicated below.
    • If they do not match the standard, perform the voltage inspection. (See VOLTAGE INSPECTION .)
