Water Pump Component Removal Note

- Remove the bolt shown in the figure.
CAUTION:
- When removing the water pump component, be careful not to apply excessive force to the oil pipe protector because it may deform the oil pipe protector.
- Remove the wiring harness clip shown in the figure.
- Remove the engine oil temperature sensor/engine oil pressure sensor. (See ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR/ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN Y) .)
- Place a container under the engine to collect the engine coolant remaining in the engine.
- Slightly loosen the three water pump component bolts shown in the figure and collect the draining engine coolant into a container.CAUTION:
- Do not remove the water pump component completely at this time because the engine coolant remaining in the engine will drain out.
- After the engine coolant stops draining, remove the water pump component as shown in the figure.
