Rear Console Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Selector lever knob (ATX) (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Cup holder (without wireless charger (Qi)) (See CUP HOLDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION WITHOUT WIRELESS CHARGER (Qi)  .)
    7. Wireless charger (Qi) (with wireless charger (Qi)) (See WIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Move the console panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), (3), and (4) shown in the figure, and detach the clips.

  4. Remove the cushion tape.

  5. Remove the bolts.

  6. Remove the bolts.

  7. Move the rear console in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, detach the guides from the center lower panel, and remove the rear console.

  8. When removing the rear console bracket No. 1, perform the following procedure:
    1. Remove the rear vent duct No. 2. (with rear vent duct) (See REAR VENT DUCT No. 2. REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Remove the rear vent duct No. 1. (with rear vent duct) (See REAR VENT DUCT No. 1. REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Remove the wiring harness clips.

    4. Remove the nuts.
    5. Remove the rear console bracket No. 1.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
