Liftgate Upper Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure and partially peel back the edge of the liftgate upper trim in the direction of arrow (1) to detach the tab, move the liftgate upper trim in the direction of arrow (2) with the tab detached, and detach the clips.

  2. Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure, move the liftgate upper trim in the direction of the arrow and detach the clips and pin.

  3. Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure and partially peel back the edge of the liftgate upper trim in the direction of arrow (1) to detach the tab, move the liftgate upper trim in the direction of arrow (2) with the tab detached, and detach the clips.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
