NO USB AUDIO SOUND OUTPUT (ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	VERIFY ALL SYSTEM DTCs Perform the DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT USB DEVICE FOR MALFUNCTION After obtaining the customer's consent, replace with a USB device that was not used when the malfunction occurred. Select the USB audio mode by operating the commander switch or the center display. Is sound from the USB audio output?	Yes	System is normal. (Explain to the customer that the USB device or internal data has a malfunction)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	INSPECT USB PORT/SD CARD SLOT HUB/HDMI TERMINAL FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the applicable part. (Refer to USB PORT/SD CARD SLOT HUB INSPECTION .) .) (Refer to USB PORT/SD CARD SLOT HUB/HDMI TERMINAL INSPECTION .) .) Is the part normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to USB PORT/SD CARD SLOT HUB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) .) (Refer to USB PORT/SD CARD SLOT HUB/HDMI TERMINAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) .)
Repair completion verification 1	VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure. Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?	Yes	Complete the symptom troubleshooting. (Explain contents of repair to customer)
Repair completion verification 1		No	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the connectivity master unit (CMU). (Refer to CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT (CMU) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
