Parking Assist Unit (Ultrasonic) Inspection
NOTE:
- The integrity of the parking assist unit (ultrasonic) cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the parking assist unit (ultrasonic), perform the following procedure.
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Perform the DTC inspection for the parking assist unit (ultrasonic) and verify if any DTCs related to the parking assist unit (ultrasonic) is detected. (Refer to
DTC INSPECTION
in the service information)
- If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to [DTC TABLE [PAU] ] in the service information)
- If DTCs are not detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the symptom troubleshooting. (Refer to [SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING [PARKING SENSOR SYSTEM] ] in the service information)
