Liftgate Upper Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure below and partially peel back the edge of the liftgate upper trim in the direction of arrow (1) to detach the tab, move the liftgate upper trim in the direction of arrow (2) with the tab detached, and detach clip A and B.

  2. Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure below, move the liftgate upper trim in the direction of the arrow and detach the clip and pin.

  3. Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure below and partially peel back the edge of the liftgate upper trim in the direction of arrow (1) to detach the tab, move the liftgate upper trim in the direction of arrow (2) with the tab detached, and detach clips A and B.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
