Connected Service is contracted
NOTE:
- DTC U2050:55 is displayed if the activating remote control by smart phone is not implemented. If only DTC U2050:55 is displayed, continue to perform the procedure as indicated as this does not indicate an improper procedure.
- Perform the telematics communication unit configuration using the M-MDS. (Refer to [CONFIGURATION] in the service information.)
- Cancel connected services disable mode. (When transitioning to connected services disable mode) (See SERVICE CAUTIONS FOR VEHICLES WITH TELEMATICS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM .)
- Cancel connected vehicle maintenance mode. (When transitioning to connected vehicle maintenance mode) (See SERVICE CAUTIONS FOR VEHICLES WITH TELEMATICS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM .)
- Perform the activating remote control by smart phone. (See ACTIVATING REMOTE CONTROL BY SMART PHONE .)
- Perform the telematics communication unit initial setting. (See TELEMATICS COMMUNICATION UNIT INITIAL SETTING .)
- Switch the ignition OFF and wait for 5 min or more.NOTE:
- It takes approx. 5 min to complete the communication processing for the telematics communication system.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 1 min or more.NOTE:
- It takes approx. 1 min to complete the communication processing for the telematics communication system.
- Launch the diagnostic assist function. (Refer to the [DIAGNOSTIC ASSIST FUNCTION [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT]] in the service information.)
- Select [Service Information] on the diagnostic assist function initial screen.
- Select [TCU Linked Information] on the [Service Information] screen.
- Verify that the remote service flag in the [Remote Service Flag Information] indicates [1] as shown in the figure below.
- Switch the ignition OFF.
