Throttle body component Removal Note

  1. Remove the front under cover No. 1 and front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .)
  3. Drain the water-cooled charge air cooler coolant. (See WATER-COOLED CHARGE AIR COOLER COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .)
  4. Disconnect the water hose No. 1 and water hose No. 2 shown in the figure below.

  5. Remove the throttle body component.
