U0140-00: (SAS) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Communication error with body control module (BCM)
Detection condition	The SAS control module cannot receive a CAN signal from the body control module (BCM).
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Malfunction in CAN communication line between SAS control module and body control module (BCM) NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
