Troubleshooting Diagnostic Procedure

P0736-00: (SAS) TROUBLESHOOTING DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Results Action
1 PURPOSE: VERIFY LOW-G SENSOR INITIAL SETTING STATUS 
  • Was the low-G sensor initial setting performed?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Perform the low-G sensor initial setting and perform repair completion verification 1.
(See CALIBRATING LOW-G SENSOR [SEATS] .)
2 PURPOSE: VERIFY SAS CONTROL MODULE DTCs 
  • Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module.

    (See DTC INSPECTION .)

  • Is a DTC displayed?
Yes Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE [SAS] .)
No Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 1 PURPOSE: VERIFY IF VEHICLE IS REPAIRED 
  • Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
  • Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  • Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module.

    (See DTC INSPECTION .)

  • Is the same DTC displayed?
Yes Refer to the CAN (controller area network) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
(See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .)
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1 again.
No Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 2 PURPOSE: VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs ARE DISPLAYED 
  • Perform the DTC inspection.

    (See DTC INSPECTION .)

  • Are other DTCs displayed?
Yes Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No DTC troubleshooting completed.
