Storage diagnosis

Launch the diagnostic assist function. (See ACTIVATION PROCEDURE .)
Select in the following order from the diagnostic assist function initial screen.
1. [Diagnostic Test]
2. [Storage Diagnostic Test]

Select the applicable storage and perform the diagnostic test for the storage.

Connectivity master unit (CMU) related symptom troubleshooting (See SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING [ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM] .)
CD Ripping Area	OK	No problem with CD area storage
CD Ripping Area	NG	Malfunction in CD area storage (connectivity master unit (CMU) malfunction) Inspect the following: CD player, DVD/CD player, or connectivity master unit (CMU) related DTCs (See DTC TABLE [CMU] .) CD player, DVD/CD player, or connectivity master unit (CMU) related symptom troubleshooting (See SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING [ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM] .)
MAP Areas	OK	No problem with map area storage
MAP Areas	NG	Malfunction in map area storage (malfunction with SD card inserted into USB port/SD card slot hub/HDMI terminal) Inspect the following: Connectivity master unit (CMU) related DTCs (See DTC TABLE [CMU] .) Connectivity master unit (CMU) related symptom troubleshooting (See SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING [ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM] .) USB port/SD card slot hub/HDMI terminal (Refer to USB PORT/SD CARD SLOT HUB INSPECTION in service information.) (Refer to [USB PORT/SD CARD SLOT HUB/HDMI TERMINAL INSPECTION] in service information.) Wiring harness between USB port/SD card slot hub/HDMI terminal and connectivity master unit (CMU)

Ends the diagnostic assist function. (See ENDING PROCEDURE .)
