- The connectivity master unit (CMU) cannot receive a signal from the commander switch with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on)/main power switched ON (READY off or on).

- For a commander interruption, a DTC is recorded and the operation continues.
- For frame length and check sum error, the applicable data is canceled and the operation continues.

- Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between center display and connectivity master unit (CMU)

- Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between battery and DC-DC converter (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV and without Mazda M Hybrid)
- Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between DC-DC converter and commander switch (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV and without Mazda M Hybrid)
- DC-DC converter malfunction (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV and without Mazda M Hybrid)
