DTC U0001:88/U0100:00/U0101:00/U0121:00/U0151:00/U0155:00 (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description  
  • U0001:88
    • Unit communication error (HS-CAN)
  • U0100:00
    • Communication error with PCM
  • U0101:00
    • Communication error with TCM
  • U0121:00
    • Communication error with DSC HU/CM
  • U0151:00
    • Communication error with SAS control module
  • U0155:00
  • Communication error with instrument cluster
Detection condition  
  • U0001:88
    • Electric parking brake control module detects the CAN bus communication line (HS-CAN) malfunction 10 times continuously with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
  • U0100:00
    • Electric parking brake control module could not receive the CAN signal from the PCM with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
  • U0101:00
    • Electric parking brake control module could not receive the CAN signal from the TCM with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
  • U0121:00
    • Electric parking brake control module could not receive the CAN signal from the DSC HU/CM with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
  • U0151:00
    • Electric parking brake control module could not receive the CAN signal from the SAS control module with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
  • U0155:00
  • Electric parking brake control module could not receive the CAN signal from the instrument cluster with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

  • Malfunction in CAN communication line between SAS control module and electric parking brake control module
  • Malfunction in CAN communication line between instrument cluster and electric parking brake control module
