Steering Wheel Bezel Removal/Installation
WARNING:
- Handling the driver-side air bag module improperly can accidentally deploy the air bag module, which may seriously injure you. - Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)

- Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the steering shift switch. (With steering shift switch) (See STEERING SHIFT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SJ6A-EL] .)
- Remove the steering wheel cover. (See STEERING WHEEL COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Warm up the shaded area shown in the illustration and soften the hard plastic area of the steering wheel using a heat gun.
- Pull the part of the steering wheel bezel near tabs A and B and detach the tabs.
- Warm up the shaded area shown in the illustration and soften the hard plastic area of the steering wheel using a heat gun.
- Pull the part of the steering wheel bezel near tabs C and remove the steering wheel bezel.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
