DTC U3000-4B (EVP CONTROL UNIT) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC	U3000:4B	EVP control unit: high internal temperature
DETECTION CONDITION		A circuit board temperature inside the EVP control unit of 130 degrees C {266 degrees F} or more is detected.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION		Refer to "Fail-safe function table". (See DTC TABLE [EVP CONTROL UNIT] .)
POSSIBLE CAUSE		Continuous use of electric vacuum pump under high engine compartment temperature Temperature sensor (built-in EVP control unit) malfunction EVP control unit malfunction
