Electric Vacuum Pump Inspection
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.
- Select "DataLogger".
- Select "Modules".
- Select "EVP".
- Select the monitor item "VS1" and simulation item "VPS_FBK" from the PID table.
- Verify that the monitor value of monitor item "VS1" is decreased gradually when the simulation item "VPS_FBK" is performed.
- If the monitor value is not decreased, replace the electric vacuum pump. (See ELECTRIC VACUUM PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
