LCD Inspection

1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2. After vehicle identification, select the following from the M-MDS initialization screen.
   1. Select "DataLogger".
   2. Select "Modules".
   3. Select "IC".
3. Using the simulation function item LCD_SEG, verify that the LDC displays as shown in the following illustration.
   • If the LCD display is not as shown in the illustration, replace the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
