Throttle Body Inspection

Resistance Inspection 

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION ).
2. Disconnect the throttle body connector. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
3. Measure the resistance between throttle body terminals A and B.

Throttle body resistance 

0.3-100 ohms [20°C {68 °F}]

• If not as specified, replace the throttle body. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
