Dynamic Pressure Turbo Inspection
Compressor Wheel Inspection
- Visually inspect all of the compressor wheel wings for breakage, damage or bending.
- If there is bending or damage, replace the dynamic pressure turbo.
- Verify the following when replacing the dynamic pressure turbo.
- Remaining damaged parts in intake/exhaust system related parts
- Oil pipe damage, clogging
- Engine coolant pipe damage, clogging
Turbine Wheel Inspection
- Visually inspect all of the turbine wheel wings for breakage, damage or bending.
- If there is bending or damage, replace the dynamic pressure turbo.
- Verify the following when replacing the dynamic pressure turbo.
- Remaining damaged parts in intake/exhaust system related parts
- Oil pipe damage, clogging
- Engine coolant pipe damage, clogging
Criteria for Determining Crack in Turbine Housing
- If there is a crack in the location shown in the figure, there is no problem with the dynamic pressure turbo and it does not need to be replaced.
