Exhaust manifold insulator installation note

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Temporarily tighten the exhaust manifold insulator.
Tighten the exhaust manifold insulator in the order shown in the figure.

Tightening torque

8-10 N.m {82-101 kgf.cm, 71-88 in.lbf}
Install the insulators shown in the figure.

Install the purge solenoid valve component.

Tightening torque

8-11 N.m {82-112 kgf.cm, 71-97 in.lbf}
Install the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Install the No. 1 engine mount rubber bolt (transmission side), and the No. 1 engine mount rubber bolt (front crossmember side). (See ENGINE MOUNT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY ).
