EGR Pipe Removal/Installation: Notes

Replacement Part 

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION ).
2. Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT ).
3. Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
4. Remove the EGR cooler. (See EGR COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
5. Remove the air cleaner. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
6. Remove the bolts shown in the figure and set the water pipe aside.

7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

   PART DESCRIPTION
   
   

   1	Water hose No. 1 (See Water Hose No. 1 Installation Note ).
   2	Water hose No. 2 (See Water Hose No. 2 Installation Note ).
   3	EGR pipe

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
