Rear Housing Removal Note

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Disconnect the turbocharger air outlet pipe from the dynamic pressure turbo. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Remove the vacuum pump. (See VACUUM PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  4. Remove the exhaust CMP sensor. (See CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  5. Remove the ECT sensor No. 1. (See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  6. Remove the rear housing.
