Three Way Solenoid Valve Inspection

Continuity Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION ).
- Remove the three way solenoid valve. (See THREE WAY SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Inspect airflow between the ports under the following conditions.
CONTINUITY SPECIFICATION
| Measured condition | Continuity between nipples A-B | Continuity between nipples B-C | Continuity between nipples A-C |

| When voltage is not applied | No airflow | Airflow detected | No airflow |
| When voltage is applied | Airflow detected | No airflow | No airflow |
- If not as specified, replace the three way solenoid valve. (See THREE WAY SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
