Upper Panel Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
  2. Open the console lid.
  3. Move the upper panel component in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clips, hooks, and guides.

  4. Insert a hand at the back of the upper panel and detach the clip at the position shown in the figure, and remove the upper panel from the console-up.

  5. When removing the console-up, perform the following procedure:
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the console-up.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
