ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY DOES NOT OPERATE DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Action
1	VERIFY ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY SETTING Verify the "Active Driving Display" setting for the active driving display using the center display. Is the setting ON?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Switch the setting to ON.
2	VISUALLY INSPECT ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY Switch the ignition ON (engine on). Visually inspect the active driving display for damage. Is the active driving display normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Replace the active driving display. (See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3	DETERMINE IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY Disconnect the negative battery terminal and connect the negative battery terminal after approx. 1 min. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .) Is the active driving display operating normally?	Yes	NOTE: By re-connecting the negative battery terminal, the angle correction function for the combiner is implemented and the malfunction can be considered corrected. Troubleshooting completed (explain the contents of the servicing to the customer).
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	INSPECT ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY Inspect the active driving display. (See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY INSPECTION .) Is the active driving display operating normally?	Yes	Go to the next step.
4		No	Replace the active driving display. (See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5	VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS CORRECTED Is the active driving display operating normally?	Yes	Troubleshooting completed (explain the contents of the servicing to the customer).
5		No	Replace the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
