Magnetic Clutch Inspection [VIN Y]
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect battery to terminal A of magnetic clutch and ground to A/C compressor body.
- Verify that the magnetic clutch operates.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the magnetic clutch. (See MAGNETIC CLUTCH INSPECTION [VIN Y] .)
