Rear Housing Installation Note
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- After applying silicone sealant (TB1217D or equivalent), install the rear housing within 10 min. and then tighten all bolts within 5 min.
- Apply silicone sealant (TB1217D or equivalent) to the areas shown in the figure.

3. 0-7.0 mm {0.12-0.27 in}
- Install the rear housing.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Tightening torque 20-26 N.m {2.1-2.6 kgf.m, 15-19 ft.lbf} - Install the ECT sensor No. 1. (See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the exhaust CMP sensor. (See CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the vacuum pump. (See VACUUM PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the turbocharger air outlet pipe to the dynamic pressure turbo. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
