AWD Solenoid Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
Disconnect the AWD solenoid connector.
Measure resistance between AWD solenoid connector terminals A and B.

- If the resistance is not within the specification, replace the coupling component. (See COUPLING COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)] .)
