Down Switch: Notes

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
- Remove the screw.
- Disconnect the down switch connector.
- Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that the continuity between down switch component terminals A and B.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the down switch. (See STEERING SHIFT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
