DTC P0735-00: 5GR Incorrect Ratio: Outline

DTC P0735:00 (TCM, ET6A-EL, ET6AX-EL, US) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	5GR incorrect ratio
Detection condition	In D position, 5GR, the following phenomenon occurs: There is no correlation between the turbine/input shaft speed and the output shaft speed sensor speed for 0.23 to 1.98 s (fluctuates by ATF temperature, engine coolant temperature) while shifting. There is no correlation between the turbine/input shaft speed and the output shaft speed sensor speed for 1.5 to 3.9 s (fluctuates by ATF temperature) while driving but not shifting.
Fail-safe	Inhibits malfunctioning gear. Limits engine torque. Inhibits learning control. Inhibits manual mode. Inhibits neutral idle control. Inhibits AAS.
