Function Explanation (DTC Detection Outline)

- If the engine oil temperature detected by the engine oil temperature sensor is not rising0.9 °C {2 °F} or more during a 10 minperiod after the engine is started, the PCM determines an engine oil temperature sensor malfunction and stores a DTC.
