DTC P3428:00 (PCM, SKYACTIV-G, US) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

OCV for No. 4 cylinder deactivation circuit high input |
| Detection condition |
- A condition continues for a specified period of time in which the OCV control voltage or current for No. 4 cylinder deactivation relative to the PCM control exceeds the specified value.

| Fail-safe |
- Inhibits the cylinder deactivation control.
|
| Possible cause |
- OCV for No. 4 cylinder deactivation connector or terminals malfunction
- PCM connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to power supply in OCV for No. 4 cylinder deactivation control circuit
- Short circuit in OCV for No. 4 cylinder deactivation control circuits
- Open circuit in OCV for No. 4 cylinder deactivation control circuit
- OCV for No. 4 cylinder deactivation malfunction
- PCM malfunction
