Speaker Inspection: Tweeter

Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
Remove the tweeter. (See TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Inspect the resistance between positions A and B shown in the illustration.
Tweeter resistance

Without Bose®: 3.9-4.7 ohms

With Bose®: 3.4 ohms

- If not within the specification, replace the tweeter. (See TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
