Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Remove the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
  3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. While pressing the forward sensing camera (FSC) bracket tabs in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the forward sensing camera (FSC) in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the forward sensing camera (FSC) from the forward sensing camera (FSC) bracket.

  5. Move the forward sensing camera (FSC) in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  7. If the forward sensing camera (FSC) is replaced, perform the forward sensing camera (FSC) aiming (See FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) AIMING .).
    CAUTION:
    • If forward sensing camera (FSC) aiming is not performed after replacing the FSC, the related systems controlled by the FSC will not operate because the forward sensing camera (FSC) cannot store the camera shot angle. If the forward sensing camera (FSC) is replaced, perform the forward sensing camera (FSC) aiming.
