DTC P1708:24 (BCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Starter interlock switch circuit malfunction |
| Detection condition |
- The body control module (BCM) detects an open circuit in the starter interlock switch circuit for a continuous 5 times.

| Fail-safe |
- Change to the back-up mode.

| Possible cause |
- DTCs are stored in the PCM.
- Clutch stroke sensor malfunction
- Starter interlock switch connector or terminal malfunction
- Open circuit in starter interlock switch ground circuit
- Starter interlock switch malfunction
- Body control module (BCM) connector or terminal malfunction
- Open circuit in starter interlock switch signal circuit
- Body control module (BCM) malfunction
