Idle Mixture Inspection

- Verify that the idle speed and ignition timing are within the specification. (See Idle Speed Inspection .) (See Ignition Timing Inspection .)
- Insert an exhaust gas analyzer into the tailpipe.
- Verify that the CO and HC concentrations are within regulation.
- If there is a malfunction, refer to "ENGINE SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING".
