Oil and Chemical Type

Rear differential oil

MAZDA LONG LIFE HYPOID GEAR OIL SG1

Place the vehicle on level ground.
Remove the filler plug and washer.

Verify that the oil is at the brim of the filler plug hole.

If it is low, add the specified oil. (See DIFFERENTIAL OIL REPLACEMENT .)

Install a new washer and the filler plug, and tighten.
