AWD Solenoid Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
Disconnect the AWD solenoid connector.
Measure resistance between AWD solenoid connector terminals A and B.

If the resistance is not within the specification, replace the coupling component. (See COUPLING COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)

2.2-2.6 ohms (Temperature at 20°C {68°F})
