DTC U3003-16, U3003-17 Or U3003-1C: Battery Power Supply (Electric Power Steering (EPS)): Outline

DTC U3003:16, U3003:17 OR U3003:1C (ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Battery power supply
Detection condition	U3003:16 Voltage of 8 V or less detected by EPS control module internal battery voltage observation. U3003:17 or U3003:1C Voltage of 17.5 V or more detected by EPS control module internal battery voltage observation.
Fail-safe	Refer to "Fail-safe Function Table". (See DTC TABLE (ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) (US)) .)
Possible cause	Generator malfunction Poor connection at connectors EPS control module malfunction
